GARDEN project partnership meets in Valencia

Ongoing steering committee meeting in Valencia of the EU #GARDEN project, which integrates three strands of work that EStà has been working on for many years:

🔸the sustainability of food systems,
🔸the balancing of climate and social impacts.
🔸and the evolution toward electric mobility.

The project aims to make urban #logistics related to food procurement and the management of related #organic waste, #packaging and used containers more sustainable. ♻️
The aim is to reduce the climate impact of logistics and to evaluate the cost-effectiveness and social acceptability of some innovative #solutions that include the use of electric vehicles and different types of logistics organization.
📊EStà is in charge of assessing the economic, social, and environmental impacts of the different solutions adopted and developing policy directions for different institutional levels: all by adopting a participatory and #multistakeholder approach.
