GARDEN project partnership meets in Valencia

Ongoing steering committee meeting in Valencia of the EU #GARDEN project, which integrates three strands of work that EStà has been working on for many years:

the sustainability of food systems,
the balancing of climate and social impacts.
and the evolution toward electric mobility.

The project aims to make urban #logistics related to food procurement and the management of related #organic waste, #packaging and used containers more sustainable.
The aim is to reduce the climate impact of logistics and to evaluate the cost-effectiveness and social acceptability of some innovative #solutions that include the use of electric vehicles and different types of logistics organization.
EStà is in charge of assessing the economic, social, and environmental impacts of the different solutions adopted and developing policy directions for different institutional levels: all by adopting a participatory and #multistakeholder approach.
