Living Lab in Lusaka, by EStà
AfriFoodlinks is an European H2020 project which aims to improve food security linked to urban sustainability, with a focus on the African context and open innovation. Coordinated by @ICLEI Africa, the project involves 26 partners and, to varying degrees, more than 65 cities.

As part #AfriFOODlinks project EStà has organized a Living Lab in Lusaka, scheduled for April 4, 2025. In doing so, it collaborated with the other project partners: the University of Zambia the Municipality of Lusaka and Hivos.
The objective of the living lab, aimed at key local food system stakeholders, will be to bring out the importance of a local food desk through capacity building activities.
During the day, virtuous international examples will be explored and through facilitation activities, the goals and agenda of the future food desk in the city of Lusaka will be outlined in a participatory way.
