The impact assessment of the GARDEN – Interreg project is now underway

Food System Governance

GARDEN – 5th Steering Committee Meeting in Montpellier

EStà was in Montpellier from November 5 to 7 on a mission as part of the Interreg Euro-MED Green Living Areas GARDEN project, which aims to decarbonize logistics for food supply and the management of bio-waste, packaging, and used containers in Mediterranean cities.

On this occasion, EStà began its task of evaluating the project and jointly creating policy recommendations, which it will develop between now and June 2026.

The three days were also an excellent opportunity to conduct field visits and workshops with all the partners: BATTI – Bulgarian Association for Transfer of Technology and Innovation, Capenergies, Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES), Consorci de la Ribera – Àrea d’energia (CRIB), FAB’LIM, Heraklion S.S.A., Marche Polytechnic University, University of Donja Gorica – Centre of Excellence – FoodHub), University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture.
