The Circular Food Economy in Milan

This study examines the key issues affecting the circularity of food-related municipal waste streams, wastewater treatment sludge, and fresh food surpluses. Each topic includes a general overview and a specific analysis of the city of Milan, with the goal of creating a permanent forum for dialogue among the city’s institutional, economic, and social stakeholders, thereby generating shared knowledge and integrated actions.
