Climate change – Food Policies and the Climate Agenda

City experiences and urban/national collaborative policies

This parallel session of Miann Urban Food Policy Pact Global Forum coordinated by EStà in collaboration with CNCA (carbonneutralcities.org/) presented key data, information, experiences from cities around the world along with the policies that the Brazilian government has promoted and implemented also to work with cities on climate-friendly food policies.

This event had two main objectives:


1) highlight the strategic nature of integrating the two policy agendas on food and climate;
2) demonstrate the effectiveness of a good connection between local and national policies within a multilevel governance framework.
