Field visit in Cascina cuccagna

MUFPP Global Forum

2025, Milan

We are very proud to say that Cascina Cuccagna is our home!

As part of the MUFPP global forum EStà co-organized with ACCC a field visit to our headquarters: Cascina Cuccagna!

It was a great opportunity for political delegates, municipal officials, and international experts to explore concrete examples of how urban food policies are implemented on the ground and to draw inspiration from an inclusive, place-based approach to food system transformation.

Participants learned about:
✅Governance model of the Food Aid Hub Cuccagna, a public-private collaborative creation which combines sustainability, education, and social inclusion;
✅ Food waste prevention, circular economy and environmental awareness iniciatives;
✅Community-led programs that promote healthy diets, support local producers, and strengthen the link between city and countryside;
✅ Engagement strategies that foster a participatory approach to territorial development.

Thanks to the MUFPP Sectretariat for the opportunity and to our associates of Cascina Cuccagna for their appreciated collaboration.
